Mediums
Thread
Most often the medium of our works are threads that come from space of being damaged, rejected, or excess waste at the hands of spinners, weavers, or tailors.

These “Collected “threads come to me with their own stories of where they came from, whose and how many hands it has passed through and what did they “not “become.
Often while sewing these threads together in compositions their stories come back to us and lend further to the narratives.

Metal
A medium that was picked as challenge just recently has brought a new dimension to our narrative.
Finding ways to express fluidity within the definitions of strength and structure that metal stands for has been the strongest motivation.

Textile
Owing to our previous experiences in the genre of textile & fashion, textile as a medium to create art came very naturally.

The mediums pliability, structure and sheerness further allow more possibilities when it is introduced to mediums like resins, plaster, paints, and threads.
Paper
Paper has been the most dealt medium in any person’s life, and the most profound learning was to experience that this is probably the only medium that has a memory, when folded or creased it leaves an irreversible impression behind.

With this thought the entire perspective changed and we began to see, experience and express through art in a new light, one that speaks possibilities through structure, creases and relationship with colours.
